    Robbie Bonar is heading into his 11th season as a part-time assistant coach with the Hilltoppers. Bonar’s primary areas of responsibility at West Liberty include on-court instruction, strategy, and scout work. 
    During his time on the hilltop, Bonar has been part of five 20-win seasons and a trio of NCAA Tournament bids. That was highlighted by a school-record 29-win season and run to the NCAA Division II Sweet 16 in 2016. The 2007 John Marshall graduate holds a bachelor’s degree in Psychology with a minor in Sport Psychology from West Virginia University along with a master's degree in Sport Studies from Miami (Ohio) University.
Bonar resides in Glen Dale, W.Va., with his wife, Sarah, and their sons, Marshall and Carter.
