Johnie Olkosky is headed back to the West Liberty sidelines for her second season as an assistant coach with the Hilltoppers’ women’s basketball program.
The versatile shooting guard started all 125 games during a stellar 4-year career (2015-19) on the hilltop. She ranks among the school’s all-time leaders in multiple categories, cracking the Top 10 in 3-point field goals (212) and rebounds (671). Olkosky is also one of only two West Liberty women ever to collect more than 800 points, 600 rebounds, 300 assists and 200 3-point field goals in her career.
A native of Pittsburgh, Pa., Johnie graduated from West Liberty in 2019 with a Criminal Justice degree and is currently employed by WLU as a Student Records Assistant.
