Coach Crutchfield says: “C.J. has been a warrior for us since the day he walked on campus. He’s a double-figure scorer who’s on track to break the school’s career rebounding record and he shuts down guys 4-5 inches taller than him in the paint. He just has an incredible determination to succeed on and off the court. That’s why he’s an Academic All-American, as well.
