2025:
MEC Commissioner's Honor Roll.... Appeared in all 11 games for the Hilltoppers, making 10 starts along the offensive line.... Started every game except West Virginia Wesleyan.

2024:
MEC Commissioner's Honor Roll.... Appeared in one game against Frostburg State on Sept. 14, 2024.

2023:
Appeared in three games as an offensive lineman for the Hilltoppers, playing in each of the first three contests of the year against Walsh, Fairmont State and Frostburg State.... Helped provide protection for an offense that opened the season with 374 passing yards against Walsh and a season-high 414 yards against Fairmont State.... The Hilltoppers threw for three touchdowns in each of the first two games and topped 350 passing yards in back-to-back contests for the first time since the 2010 season.

High School:
Was named First Team All-Principals Athletic Conference (PAC-7), First Team All-Stark County, First Team Division IV All-Northeast Inland District and Honorable Mention Division IV All-Ohio in 2022 after helping Northwest High School advance to the quarterfinals of the Region 13 Ohio Division IV Playoffs.... Played for Team North Division IV-VII in the 2023 Ohio High School Football Coaches Association (OHSFCA) North-South All-Star Game.

Off the Field:
Riley is the son of Heather Dawson, Jim Dawson and Scott Plotner.... He has two siblings, Brianna Plotner and Tyler Dawson.... He is majoring in Criminal Justice with a minor in Athletic Coaching.
