Played at West Muskingum High School in Zanesville, Ohio.............Was a finalist for Ohio’s Mr. Football Award as a senior in 2023..........Set a Muskingum Valley League record with 42 touchdowns in the regular season...............His final stat line included 1,060 yards rushing and 27 TDs, 454 yards receiving and eight TDs; he also threw two TD passes and returned to kickoffs for touchdowns............ Set school records for career rushing TDs (40), career receiving TDs (19) and total career TDs (63)........... Had over 1,000 total yards as a junior, rushing for 807 yards on 120 carries while adding 270 receiving yards..............Scored 12 total touchdowns in 11 games (eight rushing, four passing)...........  Had five 100-yard rushing games with a long run of 51 yards
