High School:
Played at Austintown Fitch High School in Youngstown, Ohio. A two-year letterwinner, two-year starter, and team captain as a senior. Earned the 2025 Mark Vincent Pelini (MVP) Center of Excellence Award, was a two-time First Team All-AAC selection (2024, 2025), Academic All-Ohio honoree, All-District Honorable Mention in 2025, and was recognized as the team's highest-graded offensive lineman during his senior season.

Majoring in Business... Son of Chris and Jessica Bolen... Has one brother, Matthew Johnson.
