Biography

High School: A two-year starting linebacker at Jeannette Senior High School under head coach Thomas Paulone, Mendoza served as a team captain during both his junior and senior seasons while helping lead the Jayhawks to consecutive WPIAL playoff appearances. He earned Second Team All-Conference honors as a junior before being named First Team All-Conference at linebacker as a senior.

Off the Field: Nicholas is the son of April Russell and Rodney Mendoza and plans to major in Environmental Science at West Liberty.
