High School:
Played at Woodland Hills High School in Pittsburgh, Pa....... Helped lead the Wolverines to back-to-back conference championships.... Three-year starter and one-year team captain.... Earned First Team All-Conference honors after leading Pennsylvania Class 5A in interceptions.... Finished his senior season with five interceptions, including two returned for touchdowns, while adding 73 tackles and nine pass breakups.... Also caught 25 passes for 320 yards and four touchdowns.

Off the Field:
Landon is the son of Tameka Akins and Troy Akins.... He has two brothers, Troy Akins Jr. and Carter Akins.... He is majoring in Financial Management.
