Biography

High School: A four-year varsity letterwinner and starter at South Charleston High School under head coach Donnie Mays, Hackman starred at outside linebacker and EDGE while serving as a team captain during his junior and senior seasons. He earned First Team All-MSAC honors as a senior after recording 98 tackles, 11 tackles for loss, 4.5 sacks, four forced fumbles and five pass breakups. Hackman also was ranked as the MSAC's top outside linebacker before suffering an injury during his senior season.

Off the Field: Kayden is the son of Kristen and Andy Hackman and has one brother, Ethan. He plans to major in Business at West Liberty. His father was a national champion swimmer and his mother was a dancer at BYU.
