Thomas Woodson

    An outstanding quarterback at NCAA Division I Akron, Thomas Woodson returns for his second season as a graduate assistant coach with the West Liberty University football program. He will be working primarily with the Hilltoppers’ wide receivers and tight ends.
    The Pittsburgh, Pa. native set several school records as a dual-threat signalcaller at Gateway (Pa.) High School before launching a highly-successful collegiate career with the Zips of the Mid-American Conference.
    A three-year starter under center for Akron, Woodson garnered multiple MAC Offensive Player of the Week honors and finished his career with the Zips ranked No. 2 all-time in total passing yards (6,864) and passing touchdowns (53).
    Woodson graduated from Akron with an Education degree and is currently pursuing his master’s in education at West Liberty.
