High School: Played at Central Dauphin East High School in Harrisburg, Pa., under head coach Tyshaun Pollard. A two-year letterwinner, two-year starter and two-year team captain, he helped lead the Panthers to a postseason appearance during his junior season. Rushed for more than 1,000 yards as a senior.

Off the Field: Avery is the son of Arian Romain and Avery Romain. He has one younger brother, Justin. He is majoring in Business.
