West Liberty University Athletics

    Kassidy Montondo begins her first season on the hilltop as a graduate assistant coach with West Liberty’s Acrobatics & Tumbling team.
    The Watertown, N.Y. native comes to West Liberty after a stellar athletic and academic career at Davis & Elkins College. A 4-year starter with the Senators’ Acrobatics & Tumbling team, Montondo competed in multiple events and was a second-team All-MEC selection as a sophomore in 2019. She was a member of D&E’s Synch Pyramid group that was runner-up at the MEC Individual Event Championships and also helped lead the Senators’ Synchronized Toss and Open Pyramid events to top three finishes.
    The daughter of Timothy and Laura Montondo, Kassidy was a member of the MEC Commissioner’s Academic Honor Roll and graduated in May with a degree in Psychology and Human Services. She is currently working toward her master’s degree at WLU.
