Former Fairmont State Acrobatics & Tumbling standout Ashley Rebel begins her first season as an assistant coach with the West Liberty University Acrobatics & Tumbling program. She served as a volunteer assistant with Coach Kelsey Kyle’s Hilltoppers during the 2021-22 season.
   A Pittsburgh native with a background in competitive cheer, Rebel and Kyle were teammates on several nationally-ranked Acrobatics & Tumbling teams at Fairmont State.
   As a senior in 2019, Rebel was part of three championship event teams at the 2019 Mountain East Conference Event Championships. The talented top participated in the Falcons' victorious 7-Element Acro, Synchronized Toss and Quad Tumbling events while also playing a key role in FSU's runaway win against Glenville State in the inaugural MEC Tournament final.
   Rebel is a 2019 graduate of Fairmont State University where she was a perennial Dean’s List student.
