West Liberty University Athletics

Abbey Horvath enters her first year as Graduate Assistant Acrobatics and Tumbling Coach after wrapping up an impressive career on the mats for the Hilltoppers. A four-year member of the West Liberty University Acrobatics and Tumbling team, Horvath earned multiple accolades throughout her collegiate career.

She was named First Team All-MEC in 2022 and 2025 and earned Second Team honors in 2023 and 2024. Abbey also captured the prestigious MEC Freshman of the Year award in 2022 and is a two-time All-MEC Academic Team honoree.

A native of nearby Wellsburg, West Virginia, Horvath earned her Bachelor of Arts degree from West Liberty University. Known for her dedication both in the classroom and on the mats, she continues to exemplify the values of hard work and excellence as she transitions from athlete to coach.

Horvath is pursuing a Masters of Education in Reading Education and is the daughter of Kelly and John Horvath.
