5/5/2026 12:00:00 PM

WEST LIBERTY, W.Va. – Senior infielder Isabella McKee has been named this week's Hilltopper of the Week after a strong offensive showing to close out the regular season.

The Winchester, Virginia native played a key role in West Liberty's road swing, helping the Hilltoppers secure wins at Point Park and Salem. Over three games, McKee recorded six hits, drove in four runs, and scored four times, consistently producing in the middle of the lineup.

McKee delivered her top performance in the series opener at Point Park, going 4-for-4 with three RBIs and two runs scored, setting the tone offensively. She followed that up with another multi-hit effort in the nightcap before adding two more hits and two runs scored in a shutout victory at Salem to close the regular season.

For the week, McKee hit an impressive .667 (6-for-9), raising her season batting average to .315.

A senior out of James Wood High School, McKee has been a steady presence for the Hilltoppers all season and heads into postseason play swinging one of the hottest bats on the team.

West Liberty now turns its attention to the Mountain East Conference Tournament, which begins Wednesday in Salem, Virginia.
