WEST LIBERTY, W.Va. – Four members of the West Liberty University softball team have been named to the 2026 College Sports Communicators (CSC) Academic All-District Team, recognizing their achievements both on the field and in the classroom.

Senior infielder Jaden Conrad, junior infielder Isabella McKee, junior pitcher Kadence Pettit, and junior outfielder Paytyn Tucker each earned the academic honor for the Hilltoppers. Conrad and McKee both collected the award for the second consecutive season.

Conrad, a native of Saint Albans, W.Va. and graduate of Saint Albans High School, carries a 3.81 cumulative GPA while majoring in the physician assistant program. The senior turned in another strong season offensively, batting .335 while leading the Hilltoppers in RBI (33) and extra-base hits (19).

McKee, from Winchester, Va. and a graduate of James Wood High School, owns a 3.50 cumulative GPA in the dental hygiene program. The junior infielder hit .302 during the 2026 campaign with 13 extra-base hits and 25 RBI.

Pettit, a junior pitcher from Moundsville, W.Va. and graduate of John Marshall High School, posted a 3.58 cumulative GPA while majoring in financial planning. In the circle, Pettit led the Hilltoppers in wins (8), innings pitched (111.1), and strikeouts (67) while recording a 3.33 ERA.

Tucker, also a native of Moundsville, W.Va. and graduate of John Marshall High School, earned Academic All-District honors with a 3.70 cumulative GPA in community education. Serving as West Liberty's leadoff hitter, Tucker paced the team with a .347 batting average, 24 stolen bases, and 40 runs scored.

The CSC Academic All-District Team recognizes student-athletes for their combined performances athletically and academically. Nominees must meet specific academic and athletic requirements to be eligible for the honor.
