WEST LIBERTY, W.Va. — The West Liberty University women's soccer team returns to the road Sunday for a Mountain East Conference matchup against Davis & Elkins, with kickoff scheduled for 1 p.m. at Nuttall Field in Elkins.

The Hilltoppers enter the contest at 2-11-1 overall and 2-10 in conference play following a 3-0 loss to Frostburg State on Wednesday. West Liberty will look to end a five-match losing streak while seeking its second victory in conference play away from home.

Davis & Elkins enters Sunday at 3-7-4 overall and 2-7-3 in the MEC after playing Wheeling to a scoreless draw on Wednesday. The Senators are 2-4-3 on the road this season and have recorded four shutouts overall. Davis & Elkins defeated West Liberty, 2-0, in the first meeting between the teams on Sept. 20 at the West Family Athletic Complex.

West Liberty's attack continues to be led by Kylie Collins, who has scored five goals and totaled 10 points through 14 matches. Frida Lundberg has added two goals, while Allie Callahan has contributed one goal and two assists. The Hilltoppers have scored 10 goals this season and will look to generate more scoring opportunities against a Davis & Elkins defense that has allowed 18 goals through 14 matches.

Goalkeeper Kaisa Vale remains an important presence for West Liberty, recording 72 saves through 13 appearances. She has three shutouts this season and will be tasked with helping contain a Senators attack that has produced 14 goals. Rafaela Leão leads Davis & Elkins with three goals, while Sophia Brown has contributed two goals and two assists. Ava Sherman has added three assists to the Senators' offensive effort.

The Hilltoppers will look to improve their offensive production and limit Davis & Elkins' scoring opportunities as they pursue a different result from the teams' first meeting. Sunday's contest begins a stretch of road play for West Liberty as the team continues its push through the final weeks of the regular season.
