West Liberty, W.Va. – The No. 13-ranked West Liberty University men's basketball team returns to action at home on Wednesday night, welcoming Mountain East Conference rival Frostburg State to the ASRC for a 7:30 p.m. tipoff.

The Hilltoppers enter the matchup riding momentum after a 101-97 road win at Davis & Elkins on Saturday, improving to 9-2 overall and a perfect 4-0 in MEC play. West Liberty's strong start vaulted the Hilltoppers up three spots to No. 13 in this week's NABC Top 25 Coaches Poll.

West Liberty continues to lead the Mountain East Conference in scoring offense at 95.5 points per game while owning the league's top scoring margin (+16.9). The Hilltoppers have eclipsed the 100-point mark six times this season and rank among the conference leaders in assists (18.6 per game), steals (13.2 per game), and points off turnovers (27.8 per game).

A balanced offensive attack has fueled West Liberty's success, with nine players averaging at least 6.0 points per contest. Jamie Muldowney leads the way at 14.4 points per game, while Cameron Williams (10.3), Dante Spadafora (9.9), Peter Lattos (9.7), and Myles Montgomery (9.5) all provide consistent scoring punch. The Hilltoppers are shooting 48.8 percent from the field and averaging better than 10 three-pointers per game.

Frostburg State enters Wednesday's contest at 7-5 overall and 4-2 in conference play, riding a four-game winning streak. The Bobcats boast one of the MEC's most potent offenses, ranking second in the league at 91.5 points per game while shooting nearly 49 percent from the floor and 39 percent from three-point range.

The Bobcats are led by Mike Montano, who averages 29.0 points and 12.0 rebounds per game, along with Trey Simmons (23.1 ppg) and Mitch Finefrock (13.3 ppg), giving Frostburg one of the most explosive scoring trios in the conference.

West Liberty holds a 17-1 advantage in the all-time series against Frostburg State, including a 129-102 victory at the ASRC last season. The Hilltoppers will look to continue that success on their home floor, where they are a perfect 6-0 this season.
