INDIANA, Pa. – The West Liberty University women's soccer team opened its 2025 campaign on the road Thursday afternoon, dropping a 10-0 decision to a strong Indiana (Pa.) side at South Campus Field.
The Crimson Hawks (1-0) wasted little time getting on the board, striking in the opening two minutes and building a 4-0 lead by halftime. Indiana added six more in the second half to seal the win.
Despite the scoreline, the Hilltoppers (0-1) battled throughout the 90 minutes, using the early-season test against a perennial PSAC power to help prepare for the rigors of Mountain East Conference play.
The Hilltoppers will look to regroup quickly as they prepare for their home opener on Sunday against Seton Hill Kickoff is set for 1 p.m. at the West Family Athletic Complex.
