FAIRMONT, W.Va. — The West Liberty University women's golf team wrapped up play at the Senator Larry Edgell Invitational on Tuesday at Green Hills Country Club, finishing sixth in the team standings. The two-day tournament was hosted by Fairmont State.

Charleston's "A" squad captured the team title at +55, while Glenville State finished second at +67. West Liberty closed at +307 after rounds of 153-154.

Freshman Sara Simon led the Hilltoppers with a strong showing, finishing 26th overall with rounds of 86-86 (+33). Hannah Shepherd followed in 34th place at +47 (92-99), while Brooke Perri (+102, 120-122) and Reese Ward (+125, 136-136) rounded out the WLU lineup.

On the individual leaderboard, Glenville State's Elaina Seeley claimed medalist honors at +9 (74-79), holding off Charleston's Lucia Martin by two strokes.
