WEST LIBERTY, W.Va. – West Liberty University's Amira DuPree has been named this week's Women's Hilltopper of the Week after earning a spot on the Cedarville Invitational All-Tournament Team with an outstanding weekend performance.
The junior outside hitter powered the Hilltoppers on both sides of the ball, finishing the four-match tournament with 38 kills, 49 digs, and 45.5 total points. She reached double-digit kills in two matches, including a season-high 15 kills with 15 digs in West Liberty's five-set victory over nationally ranked UIndy, where she delivered a team-best 19.5 points.
DuPree opened the weekend strong against Saginaw Valley, notching 13 kills, 14 digs, and 16 points, and followed that up with a steady effort in a sweep of D'Youville. She closed the tournament with three kills and five digs against host Cedarville to cap off her all-around effort.
