WEST LIBERTY, W.Va. — West Liberty University sophomore Travis Scandalis has been named the Mountain East Conference Men's Soccer Offensive Player of the Week, presented by The Health Plan.
Scandalis earned the honor after scoring the game-winning goal in the Hilltoppers' 2-0 victory over California (Pa.) on Saturday. The strike was his second goal of the young season, as he's converted two of his three shots on target through four matches.
West Liberty (1-1-2) is back in action on Wednesday with a road trip to Frostburg State for another non-conference test.
