WEST LIBERTY, W.Va. – West Liberty University outfielder Sydney Johnson has been named to the NFCA Division II All-Atlantic Region Second Team.

Johnson posted an impressive season at the plate, leading the Hilltoppers with a .393 batting average. She also topped the team in runs scored (30) and hits (53), while driving in 22 runs—ranking fifth on the squad in RBIs.

A native of Zanesville, Ohio, Johnson was also selected to the All-Mountain East Conference (MEC) First Team and earned a spot on the MEC Tournament All-Tournament Team.
