WEST LIBERTY, W.Va. – The West Liberty University baseball team will close out its regular season this weekend with a four-game series against Wheeling University.
The series will now open on Friday night at the JB Chambers I-470 Complex, with a doubleheader under the lights scheduled for 7 p.m. and 9:30 p.m.
Action will shift to the Hilltop on Sunday, where the teams will meet for another doubleheader at Kovalick Field, beginning at 1 p.m.
The Hilltoppers enter the final weekend of the regular season with a 21-25 overall record and an 11-13 mark in the Mountain East Conference, currently sitting fourth in the North Division. Wheeling holds a 12-28 overall record and a 4-17 conference mark, standing fifth in the division.
