Fairmont, W.Va. — The West Liberty University men's and women's tennis teams closed out their regular season Tuesday afternoon on the road against Fairmont State. The Hilltoppers battled hard but ultimately came up short, with the women falling 6-1 and the men dropping a 7-0 decision.

Despite the team setbacks, Omolade Aderemi continued her strong individual campaign. Aderemi earned West Liberty's lone victory of the day, posting a straight-set win at No. 2 singles (6-4, 6-3) over Fairmont's Hope Backx. With the result, Aderemi improves to an impressive 11-2 in No. 2 singles play this season.
