West Liberty, W.Va. – The West Liberty University women's tennis team saw strong performances from its top singles players on Monday night, as the No. 1 and No. 2 spots secured decisive victories.
Evelina Martirosyan continued her dominant play as she improved to 6-0 in singles play, cruising past Erin Laubscher with a 6-0, 6-1 win. Meanwhile, Omolade Aderemi, competing at No. 2 singles also improved to 6-0 on the season in singles play, battled to a 6-4, 6-3 victory over Fabienne Lahn.
However, the Hilltoppers faced challenges in other matchups, as Davis & Elkins claimed wins in singles positions 3-6 and swept all three doubles contests.
