WEST LIBERTY, W.Va. – The West Liberty University baseball team is back in action Tuesday, hitting the road for a 3 p.m. matchup against Seton Hill at the SHU Baseball Complex.
The Hilltoppers enter the contest riding a strong wave of momentum after winning three of four games over the weekend against Davis & Elkins and West Virginia Wesleyan. WLU has claimed victory in seven of its last nine outings.
Offensively, the Toppers were firing on all cylinders, averaging seven runs per game while racking up 36 hits across the four-game stretch.
On the mound, Chase Lautner delivered a stellar performance Sunday, tossing a complete-game shutout while allowing just three hits. Kristopher Skeen was equally impressive, going six innings and surrendering just one run on three hits.
This matchup marks the first meeting between West Liberty and Seton Hill since 2019.
