West Liberty, W.Va. – The West Liberty University softball team is set to travel to Greensburg, Pa., on Wednesday for a doubleheader against Seton Hill, with first pitch scheduled for 2 p.m.
The Hilltoppers enter the matchup with an 8-11 overall record after a strong weekend performance, winning three of four games, including a sweep of Point Park in their Mountain East Conference (MEC) opener.
Seton Hill comes in at 11-5 on the season and is riding a two-game winning streak.
Last year, the two teams split their matchups, and the all-time series remains deadlocked at 4-4.
Following their trip to Seton Hill, the Hilltoppers will return home for their season-opening weekend, hosting West Virginia State on Saturday and Charleston on Sunday.
