WEST LIBERTY, W.Va. – After returning from their spring break trip to Florida, the West Liberty University softball team has made adjustments to its weekend schedule.

The Hilltoppers (5-10) will now open Mountain East Conference play on Friday against Point Park. The doubleheader is set for 3 p.m. and 5 p.m. at Fairhaven Park in Pittsburgh. Last season, the Toppers split a pair of games with the Pioneers, falling 5-4 in a nine-inning battle before bouncing back with a 3-1 victory in game two.

West Liberty will still travel on Saturday to take on Salem at The Bridge Sports Complex. The Hilltoppers posted a 3-1 record against the Tigers last season.
