Elkins, W.Va. – The No. 11-ranked West Liberty University men's basketball team continued its winning ways Wednesday night, using a balanced offensive attack and strong perimeter shooting to defeat Davis & Elkins, 78-66, in Mountain East Conference (MEC) action.
Hot Start from Deep Sets the Tone
The Hilltoppers (18-3, 12-2 MEC) wasted no time establishing their long-range shooting, knocking down seven three-pointers in the first half to take a 36-26 lead into the break.
West Liberty maintained control throughout the second half, never allowing the Senators to gain momentum as they stretched their lead into double digits and held firm down the stretch.

JJ Harper came close to a double-double, finishing with nine points and eight rebounds, while Lanyc Shuler provided a solid all-around effort with nine points and six rebounds.
