West Liberty, W.Va. – The West Liberty University women's basketball team returns to action Wednesday night as they welcome Salem University to the ASRC for a non-conference showdown at 5:30 p.m.
The Hilltoppers (8-18, 6-13 MEC) look to snap a five-game skid following an 81-71 road loss at Concord. Jenna Riccardo led WLU with 20 points and nine rebounds, while Bailee Smith and Anna Lucarelli each added 12 points. Karli Anker also chipped in 10.
West Liberty holds a commanding 40-15 lead in the all-time series against Salem and has won 10 of the last 11 meetings, including an 88-76 victory earlier this season on Nov. 26.

The Tigers (1-25) enter Wednesday's contest on a 16-game losing streak, most recently falling to Fairmont State, 88-47. Head coach Nikayla Edgell's squad will look to pull off an upset before closing out the season at Point Park on March 1.
