West Liberty Women’s Basketball Travels to Concord for MEC Matchup

West Liberty, W.Va. – The West Liberty University women's basketball team is set to hit the road for a Mountain East Conference (MEC) showdown against Concord on Saturday at 2 p.m. inside the Carter Center in Athens, W.Va.

Tale of the Tape

West Liberty (8-17, 6-12 MEC) is coming off a 108-82 loss to Glenville State, while Concord (13-12, 9-8 MEC) fell 77-65 at Wheeling in its last outing. Both teams are looking to bounce back as the regular season winds down and postseason seeding comes into focus.

Concord edged out a 68-65 victory over the Hilltoppers in their last meeting on January 15 at the ASRC. In that contest, Bailee Smith led WLU with 17 points and seven rebounds, while Jenna Riccardo posted a double-double with 16 points and 13 boards. Anna Lucarelli added 12 points and seven rebounds. The Mountain Lions were powered by Skylar Davidson's game-high 28 points.
