WEST LIBERTY, W.Va. – The No. 10-ranked West Liberty University men's basketball team hit a major milestone Wednesday night, securing their 20th win of the season in a 129-102 victory over Frostburg State at the ASRC.
This marks the 20th straight season the Hilltoppers have won at least 20 games, continuing one of the most impressive streaks in Division II basketball.
Second-Half Surge Fuels Victory
The Bobcats (9-14, 6-10 MEC) came to play, leading 59-53 at halftime and extending their advantage to 68-62 with 15:38 remaining.
But the Hilltoppers flipped the switch, unleashing a 16-0 run to take a 78-68 lead with 13:40 left, and they never looked back. WLU outscored Frostburg 76-43 in the second half, turning a competitive game into a dominant win.
