11/24/2025 12:00:00 PM

GREENSBURG, Pa. — West Liberty women's basketball returns to action Tuesday morning with an 11:30 a.m. Education Day tipoff at Seton Hill.

West Liberty (2–2) enters the matchup averaging 79.8 points per game, fueled by an efficient offense shooting 45.8% from the field and 32.1% from three, while also generating nearly 18 points per game off turnovers. The Hilltoppers have forced opponents into 17.5 turnovers per contest and continue to show strength at the free throw line, averaging 18.3 makes per game.

  • Anna Lucarelli is averaging 17.8 points and 8.8 rebounds, giving West Liberty a reliable two-way presence.

  • Ana-Isabel Andersson adds 13.3 points, while leading the team in assists (4.5) and steals (2.3).

  • Jameka Brungard (9.0 ppg) and Halley Smith (6.3 ppg) continue to provide productive minutes both inside and on the perimeter.

Seton Hill (2–2) brings one of the region's most aggressive defensive units into Tuesday's contest. The Griffins average 15.8 steals per game and force 22.5 turnovers, converting them into 27.5 points per contest off miscues. Offensively, Seton Hill is averaging 78.0 points, led by:

  • Hallie Cowan (17.3 ppg)

  • Helene Cowan (12.5 ppg)

  • Mia Kalich (11.5 ppg, 8.5 rpg, 65.6% FG)

While Seton Hill applies heavy defensive pressure, the Griffins have struggled from the perimeter, shooting just 21.9% from three. Their rebounding advantage (+2.3 per game) and ability to create turnovers, however, remain key strengths.

Series History

The teams last met on November 13, 2024, when Seton Hill earned an 89–72 win at West Liberty. Despite that setback, the Hilltoppers hold the advantage historically 16-7, winning five of the last seven meetings dating back to 2008.
