WEST LIBERTY, W.Va. — After a standout week leading the West Liberty University volleyball team on both ends of the court, sophomore outside hitter Ashley Cudnik has been named the Women's Hilltopper of the Week.
Cudnik was a steady offensive force for the Hilltoppers, totaling 32 kills and 26 digs across two matches. She helped West Liberty to a nonconference sweep at Point Park on Tuesday — recording eight kills and nine digs in the 3–0 win — before turning in one of her best performances of the season Friday night at Frostburg State, when she spiked a match-high 24 kills and added 17 digs and 26.5 points in the four-set contest.
The Hilltoppers return home tonight to host Wheeling in a key Mountain East Conference matchup. First serve is set for 7 p.m. inside the ASRC.
