Hilltoppers Ready To Face County Rival Wheeling University

West Liberty,W.Va. - The West Liberty University men's soccer team returns to play Saturday when they visit county rival Wheeling University at Bishop Schmitt Field. The Hilltoppers come into the match looking to break a two-game losing streak, last time out they fell 2-1 to Frostburg State. The Cardinals lost 2-1 at home Wednesday night to Salem.

West Liberty (2-4-1, 0-4) vs. Wheeling (0-5-2, 0-3-1)

  • Wheeling is first in total goals allowed with 14 and second in goals allowed per game (2) 

  • The Cardinals are eighth in total goals scored (4) 

  • Wheeling has been shutout in three of their seven games this season
