West Liberty,W.Va. -  The West Liberty University women's volleyball team opened play Friday in the Atlantic Region Crossover.
In their opening match they fell to Slippery Rock 3-0 ( 19-25, 22-25, 22-25). In their second match against Clarion they won the opening set 25-21 , before dropping the 
next three, 17-25, 23-25, 21-25. The Hilltoppers return to action in the tournament Saturday at 11 a.m. inside the ASRC.
