West Liberty, W.Va. – After earning MEC Player of the Week yesterday afternoon, West Liberty University's James Salvatori brought in another accolade this week as he was named the NCBWA Atlantic Region Hitter of the Week after a stellar 4-game performance against Lake Erie.

• In a 4-game series against Lake Erie he batted .600 with an on-base percentage of .588, a slugging percentage of .1533, and an on-base plus slugging percentage of 2.121.
• He went 9-for-15 at the plate with a double, two triples, three homeruns, a walk, six RBI, seven runs scored, and two stolen bases.
• He Recorded a hit in all four games this past weekend and hit a homerun in three of the four games.
• In game three he went 3-for-4 with a pair of triples and a homerun to help WLU secure the 11-5 win.
