Hilltoppers Home To Host Davis & Elkins

West Liberty, W.Va. - The West Liberty University women's basketball team returns home Saturday to host Davis & Elkins at 2 p.m at the ASRC.

West Liberty is coming off a 72-66 loss at West Virginia Wesleyan. Jenna Riccardo led the Hilltoppers with 15 points, Karli Anker added 13 points and pulled down six rebounds.

The Hilltoppers lead the all-time series with the Senators 37-13, and they have won seven straight in the series. WLU won last year 80-57 at home and 96-67 in Elkins.

Bailee Smith is the Hilltoppers leading scorer through eight games averaging 15.5 ppg., Jenna Riccardo is the team's leading rebounder pulling down nearly seven boards per contest at 6.8 rpg. while also scoring 14.8 ppg. Karli Anker is second in scoring at 15.0 ppg. Anna Lucarelli is second in rebounds per game at 6.8 and leads in assists at 4.4 while also adding 9.8 ppg. and leads the team in steals at 1.7 spg.

Bailee Smith is closing in on another career milestone; one-thousand career points she enters today's game with 942.

Karli Anker is two rebounds shy of 200 for her career at 198 and five assists shy of 100 with 95.
