West Liberty, W.Va. - The No.4 ranked West Liberty University men's basketball team returns to action Wednesday night as they visit West Virginia Wesleyan.
The Hilltoppers are off to a 6-0 start overall and 1-0 in the Mountain East Conference. The Bobcats are 1-5 overall 0-2 in the MEC and they have lost three in a row.
Last time out the Hilltoppers downed Salem 101-87, with six players in double-figures led by JJ Harper's 19 points.
The Toppers enter with the number one scoring offense in the conference at 98.5 ppg and the league's number two scorer in Kyler D'Augustino at 19.3 ppg.
The Bobcats do boast the conference's number three leading scorer Alex Mirhosseini who is averaging 19 ppg.
This will be the 144th meeting all-time between the schools the Toppers have won eight in a row in the series and 27 of the last 28. WLU also leads the series 76-67.
