West Liberty, W.Va. - The West Liberty University women's basketball team will host the University of Charleston in their final home game of 2024 Wednesday at 5:30 p.m. at the ASRC. 

 West Liberty is coming off a 93-60 win over Davis & Elkins. Five Hilltoppers finished in double-figures led by Jenna Riccardo and her 22 points. Bailee Smith had 19 points with five-threes. Karli Anker had 16 points, Olivia Baker 13 points. Anna Lucarelli had a double-double with 12 points and a game-high 12 rebounds, she also had five assists. As a team WLU had 15-threes in the game. 

 The Hilltoppers have three players averaging 15 points per game. Bailee Smith (15.5), Jenna Riccardo (15.6), and Karli Anker (15.1). Anna Lucarelli is the team's leading rebounder with 7.1 rpg. while also scoring 10.0 ppg. She also leads the team in assists per game (4.4) and steals per game (1.6). 

The Hilltoppers trail in the all-time series with UC 29-32, the Golden Eagles won both meetings last season.

 Bailee Smith is closing in on another career milestone; one-thousand career points she enters today's game with 961.

With five rebounds in the win over D&E Karli Anker now has 203 for her career (42 WLU), along with 97 career assists (18 WLU). 

WLU leads the MEC in 3-point shots made (91) and average per game (10.1).
