West Liberty,W.Va. - The West Liberty University men's soccer team will close the regular season Wednesday by hosting county rival Wheeling at 5 p.m. at the West Family Athletic Complex. The Hilltoppers won the first meeting back on Sept.28 at Bishop Schmitt Field 5-1. Four different players scored in that game for WLU, Alex Watt, Oskar Voges, Zachary Jordan and Barney Cowan. The Toppers limited the Cardinals to only one shot on goal in the game. West Liberty is 3-0-1 against Wheeling in the last four games and they lead the all-time series 6-4-1 and have never lost to the Cardinals at home.Â
