West Liberty, W.Va. – The West Liberty University men's basketball team is set to tip off its Mountain East Conference (MEC) schedule Saturday at the ASRC against Point Park University. The Hilltoppers (4-0) bring an incredible record of dominance at home, boasting a 163-8 record in their last 171 home conference games dating back to the 2007-08 season.
Historically, West Liberty leads the series 19-15. The teams last met on November 18, 2013, when the Hilltoppers secured a commanding 141-105 victory, highlighted by a stunning 79-point first half.
The Hilltoppers enter the matchup following a convincing 92-72 win over Virginia Union on Monday. Finley Woodward and JJ Harper paced the team with 16 points apiece, while leading scorer Kyler D'Augustino added 15. JP Dragas contributed 11 points to round out a balanced team effort.
