West Liberty Hosts 4-0 Virginia Union

West Liberty, W.Va. - The No.17 West Liberty University men's basketball team will host Virginia Union Monday at the ASRC with a 7:30 p.m. tip-off. 

The Hilltoppers are coming off of a 92-72 win over Shepherd Saturday as they improved to 3-0 on the season. The Toppers were once again led by Kyler D'Augustino and his 19 points, JJ Harper added 18 points and seven rebounds. Finley Woodward had 16 points, five rebounds and four assists. Two other Toppers each had 11 points, Dante Spadafora and Kameron Tinsley

Spadafora enters the game with 199 career three-pointers. 

The Toppers and Panthers have only met one other time , during the 1983-84 season a 72-66 VU win. 

The Panthers are led by Tahj Harding with 17 ppg.,  O'Maundre Harris with 14.7 ppg. and Che Evans 11.5 ppg. 

2004 NBA champ Ben Wallace played at Virginia Union from 1994-96.

The Hilltoppers will host their first Mountain East Conference game of the season Saturday when Point Park comes to the ASRC for a 4 p.m. tipoff.
