West Liberty, W.Va. - The West Liberty University women's basketball team fall to Walsh  73 - 66 to Walsh University Saturday at the ASRC. 

WLU opened the game on a 7-0 run and led 20-15 after the first quarter. The second quarter saw the Cavaliers out score the Hilltoppers 20-17 and West Liberty's lead was 37-35 at the break.  

The third quarter saw Walsh take a one-point lead 46-45 with 1:52 remaining, the Toppers closed the frame on a 7-3 run for a 52-49 lead after three. 

The fourth was just as close and saw the two teams tied at 66 with 2:15 remaining. The Cavs would close the game on a 7-0 run to grab the win over the Hilltoppers. 

Bailee Smith led West Liberty with 12 points and Karli Anker added 10 as the only players in double figures.
