West Liberty,W.Va. - West Liberty University's Bella Dart is Mountain East Conference Volleyball Defensive Player of the Week, presented by The Health Plan. Dart, a junior defensive specialist and libero from Avon, Indiana, made an impressive impact with 53 digs across two Hilltopper wins over Point Park and Fairmont State.

Her performance peaked in the five-set battle against Fairmont State, where she achieved a season-high 38 digs. Head coach Makzeny Johnson praised Dart's growth, saying, "Bella's defensive range has improved so much this season. Seeing her gain confidence with each match and practice is truly something special. She has been able to step up as a defensive leader throughout the season, and I am very proud of her!"

The Hilltoppers are set to play their last regular-season road game at Frostburg State on Tuesday and will then host Wheeling for their regular-season finale on Friday at 7 p.m. at the ASRC.
