Institute, W.Va. - The West Liberty University women's volleyball team had their five-game win streak snapped Friday night in a 3-0 loss to West Virginia State. The opening set was back and forth with the Toppers leading 8-5 early and 23-22 late, before falling 25-23. The second set saw WLU lead 13-111 before the Yellow Jackets held off the Hilltoppers 25-21. The third set was a 25-15 state win. With the loss the Hilltoppers slip to 13-12 overall and 7-3 in the Mountain East Conference.
