WEST LIBERTY, W.Va. – The West Liberty University women's soccer tallied a late second half goal to force a draw with West Virginia Wesleyan in Mountain East Conference action in Buckhannon, West Virginia.

Junior Hilltopper forward Mia Zecca looked to build on her outstanding offensive performance from her last outing with a shot-on-goal attempt sixty second into the match but the shot was saved by Bobcat goalkeeper Paige Miller

The Bobcats scored first with a goal in the 16th minute. West Virginia Wesleyan defender Tessa Grisez pushed a shot past Hilltopper goalkeeper Ciana Butera off a feed from Kameron Bonneau

The Hilltoppers maintained urgency after the Bobcat goal, rattling off five more first half shots that either went wide of were blocked before the teams went to halftime
