West Liberty, W.Va. - The West Liberty University women's soccer team held off Point Park Wednesday night for a 2-1 win at the West Family Athletic Complex. The Hilltoppers enjoyed a 2-0 lead at the half , on goals from Isabella Aperfine (5) in the 33rd minute and Kara Keiper (1) in the 42nd minute. The Pioneers would net their only goal on a penalty kick in the 77th minute. West Liberty keeper Cianna Butera would finish the night with nine saves to preserve the win. With the victory the Hilltoppers improve to 5-9-2, 3-7-2 currently in third place in the north division.
