West Liberty,W.Va. - The West Liberty University men's soccer team fell to Salem 1-0 Sunday at the West Family Athletic Complex. The teams played a scoreless first half with Salem putting three shots on goal to just one for the Hilltoppers. The lone goal of the game came in the 65th minute from Arthur Tavares. The Toppers would get off six shots in the second half , but only placed one on goal. The Black & Gold were unable to take advantage of the Tigers playing a man down after Abdul Kabbany was hit with a red card in the 50th minute. With the loss the Hilltoppers slip to 5-8-2 on the season.
